Navigating the Retailer Portal

Retailer Portal navigation is performed from the Header and Menu bar. These navigation functions are available from all pages within the portal.

Header

The left side of the portal header identifies the Idaho Lottery and the Retailer Portal.

The right corner of the header contains a Log Out link that logs the user out of the system and displays the Login page. To the right of the Log Out link is the Help link, which opens the Retailer Portal Help system. Below the links is the name associated with the login user name. If you are a ID Lottery user or corporate account user, the location displays All Locations until you select a retail location.

There are many web pages within the Retailer Portal. The portal's pages are organized by functional areas that correspond to the menus on the menu bar. The menu bar is displayed differently according to the user type.

The Home menu displays the Retailer Portal Dashboard from anywhere within the Retailer Portal application.

The Sales menu is unavailable until you select a corporate account or a location.

  • If you are a retail location user, the Sales menu is available because the location is automatically set to your location. When you navigate to the sales pages, the pages display information for your location.

  • If you are a corporate account user, the user's corporate account is automatically selected and the locations are filtered to display the locations your user name authorizes you to access. If you navigate to the Sales pages without selecting a location, the Sales information is displayed for all your authorized locations. If you select a retail location, Sales pages display totals for the selected location and provide an option for displaying roll-up totals for all assigned locations, as well as totals for a location's terminals.

  • If you are an ID Lottery user, the Sales menu in not available until you select a corporate account or location. If you select a corporation and do not select a location, the Sales pages are displayed for the corporation as a whole. If you select a retail location that is within the corporate account, Sales pages display totals for the selected location and provide an option for displaying roll-up totals for all account locations, as well as totals for a location's terminals.

The Scratch menu is not available until a location is selected.

  • If you log in to the Retailer portal as a retail location user, the Scratch menu is available because the location is automatically set to your location.

  • If you log into the Retailer Portal as a corporate account user, the corporation is automatically selected, but the Scratch menu in not available until you select a  location.

  • If you log in to the Retailer Portal as the ID Lottery user, the Scratch menu in not available until you select a an independent retailer location or a corporate account and one of it's locations or location.

When you navigate to the Scratch pages, the pages display information for the location.

The Retailer menu is not available until a location is selected.

  • If you log in to the Retailer portal as a retail location user, the Retailer menu is available because the location is automatically set to your location.

  • If you log into the Retailer Portal as a corporate account user, the corporate account is automatically selected, but the Retailer menu in not available until you select a  location.

  • If you log in to the Retailer Portal as the ID Lottery user level, the Retailer menu in not available until you select a an independent retailer location or a corporate account and one of its locations or location.

When you navigate to the Retailer pages, the pages display information for the location.

The Reports menu is always available. However, the On-Demand page requires the Lottery user to select a corporate account and/or retailer location.

The Select a corporation list allows the Lottery user to select a corporate account to work with. This list is not displayed for corporate account and retailer location users.

The Search for a location list allows the Lottery and corporate account user to select a location to work with. This list is not displayed for Location-level users.

For corporate account users, the locations are limited not only to those retailer locations within the account that are defined by the user role and User ID.

For Lottery users, the locations are determined by whether the user has selected a corporate account. If the user has selected a corporate account, the locations are limited to those locations belonging to the selected corporate account. If the corporate account is not selected, the Lottery user can select from all locations in the Retailer Portal.

The Clear Selection button resets the Select a corporation and Search for a location lists and returns the user to the Home page.

The Admin menu is always available. However, not all pages are displayed on the menu for all users.

All users have access to the Change Password and Edit Profile pages. Other selections on the menu are determined by the user's role.
